What is the progress of the revision of the urban plan for the National Sun Yat-sen University site in the Chengcing Lake Special District? |

As the land concerning the National Sun Yat-sen University in the Chengcing Lake Special District involves the purchase and acquisition of land, it requires a huge amount of compensation for the construction on the land (about 6 billion); therefore, the construction of the school has been delayed. With the negotiations between the County Government and the National Sun Yat-sen University, we have achieved a consensus. We plan to reserve 18.1 hectares of preserved land for the university and the rest of the 33 hectares will be changed into a residential district. The project was passed by the Urban Planning Committee of the County Government in September 2003 by the Urban Planning Committee, Ministry of the Interior on February 17, 2004 under the condition that “a detailed plan should be made separately to develop the land in the manner of urban rejuvenation.” |

Management committee means the execution of the decision made by the owners and the management and maintenance of the building. It is an organization formed by a particular number of committee members elected from the inhabitants by the owners. |

What is the progress of the application of Lujhu Science Park in the Southern Taiwan Science Park plan? |

The draft and the plan have already been sent to the Ministry of the Interior, the Area Plan Committee has already examined the plan in September, 2003. Now, the plan has completed its revision in accordance with the committee’s suggestions. We plan to submit it again soon. |
